GENE ROSEN is a lawyer who helps clients solve problems. Gene is the founder and Managing Partner of Gene Rosen’s Law Firm. Gene’s practice covers a broad spectrum of areas, ranging from transactional matters to complex litigation, and his client base is just as diverse, ranging from individuals to businesses of all sizes. Gene has negotiated thousands of successful settlements and deals, recovered millions of dollars for clients who were owed money, and saved millions of dollars for clients who owed money to others.

Gene is an accomplished litigator who has successfully represented clients in federal, state, and local courts and before independent arbitration tribunals in New York and throughout the United States. Gene has obtained numerous reported decisions in his clients’ favor and has won important precedent setting victories for numerous industries he has represented. In Gecker v. LG Funding, LLC (In re Hill), Gene won a trial that will discourage trustees, creditor committees, and debtors against suing Merchant Cash Advance companies in bankruptcy court. In Schiffer v. Slomin’s, Inc., Gene won an appeal that protects alarm and security companies using properly drafted contracts from being subjected to class action lawsuits in New York.

Gene is also an expert draftsman. Gene has negotiated, drafted, and revised contracts and forms used by clients in New York and throughout the United States, including Merchant Cash Advance companies, alarm and security companies, brokers, construction companies, medical practices, and small businesses. Gene has received numerous awards in recognition of his qualifications and professional achievement.

Gene has been selected to the New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Stars Lists for 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 which rates outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and personal achievement in their practice areas and is limited to the top 2.5 percent of the lawyers in New York.
